Sara Saltee

Sara Saltee is an assemblage and collage artist who has lived on Whidbey Island since 2005.  Her one-of-a-kind shrines and shadowboxes express a poetic sensibility, often taking an intriguing quote, lyric, or found snippet of text as a starting point. Without her insight, enthusiasm and creative soul it would have been difficult to start the endeavor that is Blueschool Arts. She's the bee's knees.

Kim Hodges is the owner of Whidbey Wares, a company that is (currently) primarily making candles, but will be expanding into a lot of other fun stuff too. She also is a wife and mother, and does day job type stuff for Marriott. We love how her candles make the studio smell. mmmmmm.....

Doug’s years of art studies combined with his artisan skills have given rise to an inventive style that integrates oils and organic elements into unexpectedly unique three-dimensional studies.

Maggie likes to dabble in shredded paper, sticks, and biscuit debris. She has an ongoing performance art piece entitled "run baby bunny run (or die)". She also plays a part as the Blueschool muse by providing wags, wiggles, and infinite licks. Literally. Infinite.
